Hi Everyone,

Please pass this info onto any students, friends, teachers etc that you think might be interested in a 1 week chamber music camp June 15-21 for students between the ages of 14 -19.  I will attach a brochure that has all the details.  (sorry for the slow download time.)

They have extended their registration deadline.

If you have advanced students who are a little younger than 14 they have occassionally accepted younger.
They have also added a compositional element - here is a note from the director describing it:

"I am excited that we can add a compositional element to our Institute this coming year.  We have recently finalized a deal with composer Stanley Friedman to join us in the middle of the week.  He will also be going up to Aspen for their music festival.  We are planning on having him do some masterclasses and we hope to perform one or more of his works with the faculty ensembles on the Thursday evening concert.  I think his presence will provide our students and faculty with an additional creative opportunity."

I am the cello instructor and one of the chamber coaches there and it is a really neat chamber music opportunity for students at a very affordable price.  They also have music theory/history and private lessons in addition to their daily chamber sessions.

(It is for all instruments by the way.)

I strongly encourage students to take advantage of this neat opportunity.
Thanks!
Becky Kutz Osterberg
