Music of Sky, Wind, and Stars: Native American Inspirations

We are delighted to announce the second season of Off the Hook: on the Musical Edge chamber music festival, June 17 - 23. Set in Fort Collins, Off the Hook is the summer concert series of PYCH: Project Youth and Chamber Music, a non-profit chamber music program working with K-12 students in the Poudre School District.

Joining us again this year, Bruce Adolphe, world- renowned composer will host all festival chamber music concerts and many of our other events. Programming includes Noon Time children’s and evening chamber music concerts as well as workshops and master classes for all ages. Featured artists include soprano, Megan Buness and Baritone, John Lueck; flutist, Christina Jennings; pianists, Silvana Santinelli, Alexandra Nguyen and many more!

Off the Hook blends music of today and yesterday in interactive and thought provoking ways. Concerts will appeal to all ages of audience. This year’s theme: the influence of Native American and Folksongs on music. Local thespian and son of an American composer greatly influenced by Native American themes, Jonathan Farwell, will join Bruce Adolphe in introducing his father, Arthur Farwell’s, music.
