Welcome To The Colorado Cup Orchestra Festival!

The event that highlights extraordinary performances by our

Colorado High School Orchestra Musicians.

The Colorado Cup Orchestra competition brings together high school orchestras from around the state providing them an excellent opportunity to receive ratings, comments and valuable lessons from leading clinicians. All groups receive feedback from adjudicators following their respective performance. It is a fun and rewarding experience for students. The critiquing is helpful and constructive. Students are able to recognize and be recognized on how much work they put into their music making. Students also have an opportunity to observe other school orchestras and hear what groups are achieving. Last year the event hosted over 400 student musicians. The grand finale is the “championship concert” where the top three scoring orchestras return for a chance to be named the Grand Champion!
