CASTA Highlights
Who Is Visiting the ASTA Booth at CMEA?
A wonderful highlight of the recent CMEA conference was the performance by the Highlands Ranch Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Nancy Allwein. Her direction and the group’s performance was superior in every respect, equaling the elegant setting of The Broadmoor Ballroom. The music selection was varied and interesting, beautifully enhanced by the orchestra’s intonation and facility. As band director and Adco #1 music supervisor during the time Nancy attended Highland High School, I was fully aware of her outstanding talents. I join her school orchestra teachers, Lynn and Charlotte Britten, in expressing congratulations for her successful career in music education and performance.
